David Alfi, DDS, MD
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
David M. Alfi, DDS, MD, FACS is a board-certified, dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for his expertise in craniofacial and orthognathic surgery, airway-focused surgical care, and research-driven innovation. Originally from Los Angeles, he earned both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Medical Degree from Columbia University, completed rigorous surgical and OMFS residencies, and went on to serve as a full-scope surgeon and associate professor at renowned institutions including Houston Methodist Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. Driven by a commitment to advancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes, Dr. Alfi's practice focuses on customized, evidence-based approaches to airway and facial surgery. He is dedicated to combining cutting-edge technology with compassionate care to help patients achieve lasting functional and aesthetic results.
Steven Halepas, DMD, MD
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Steven Halepas, DMD, MD, FACD is a dual-degree, board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and facial cosmetic surgeon with expertise in airway-focused jaw surgery, orthognathic surgery, and facial aesthetics. He earned his dental degree at the University of Connecticut, his medical degree at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed his OMFS residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia. With advanced fellowship training in facial cosmetic surgery through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Halepas integrates functional airway correction with refined aesthetic principles to achieve stable, balanced, and patient-centered outcomes. He is committed to advancing education, innovation, and evidence-based care at the intersection of airway, function, and facial harmony.
AJ Salcines, DMD, MD
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
AJ Salcines, DMD, MD is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon renowned for his expertise in orthognathic and airway-focused surgery. A South Florida native and former University of Miami student-athlete, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his Medical Degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Salcines completed his six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University, followed by a fellowship in advanced orthognathic and airway surgery. He has been recognized with the Laskin Award for surgical research and is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care that improves both function and quality of life for his patients.
